How To Get Involved

Friends of St. Mark’s is a group of people who care about the church and its role in the community. They come together to plan and support events, fundraise, and learn new skills along the way.

 

The Friends are a vital part of securing the long-term future of St. Mark’s.

Volunteering 

There’s always plenty to do at St. Mark’s, and our volunteers are an essential part of keeping things running.

We’re always looking for help with:

  • Caring for the churchyard and community garden

  • Keeping the church clean and tidy

  • Setting up and welcoming people at events

  • Helping us with social media

  • Fundraising

  • Cooking for events and coffee mornings

  • Guiding visitors and sharing the church’s history

  • Serving refreshments

  • Offering a warm and friendly welcome
