In 2025, The Diocese appointed Assistant Minister (Rev. Mike Bridgewater) to establish a new Church of England congregation at St. Mark's based around contacts and relationships arising from the community activities that have take place at St. Mark's as part of the Under One Roof project and with the adjoining St. Mark's Church of England Primary School.

The church holds services, including baptisms (christenings), weddings and funerals.  It also hosts other Christian groups who hold their services in the church, including an Eritrean Orthodox congregation and Lighthouse Chapel International (a Ghanaian congregation), as well as many community events and groups.
